2013/11-12: November & December Favourites

Hello All,

Sorry for being away for so long. I simply didn't have anything new to share. But now I'm back with a favorites post.

Ear Ache Remedy: Saje Clear Ear tincture $14.95 at Saje.ca
Since cold and flu season has begun I've been getting earaches here and there. I swear this tincture works wonders and I've been using it for many years. It has never failed me.

La Senza supersoft underwear
A bit odd to share this but I must say these are the most comfortable underwear I've ever owned. I've tried many luxury brands before, but I end up going back to these.

Avia Sports Bras
Yes I did, I admit that I don't just wear them to the gym. I live in them. They work with a lot of the clothes I wear and they come in multiple colors and styles.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter
I must say this smells like YSL Baby doll. Well it doesn't just smell nice, it moisturizes well too. The scent lingers quite a while too. So usually after application I don't need to put perfume on.

Manic Panic Semi Permanent Hair Color in Vampire Red
This hair does work on my dark brown hair, but looks rather faint. I do like how you can only see my red highlights in the bright sunlight though.

Sneaker Balls Shoe Freshener
No one wants their shoes to smell. These deodorant balls really do work. You can buy them at most shoe stores, Winners, Marshall's & TJ Maxx.

Maybelline Lipstick 160 Fifth Ave. Fuchsia
I usually wear neutral tones, but occasionally I need a pick me up bright shade. This is the one lipstick I have been gravitating to the most this past month and a half.

LaCoupe orgnx Coconut & Macadamia Oil Shampoo
LaCoupe orgnx Coconut & Macadamia Oil Conditioner
These are a great simple every day shampoo and conditioner. Free of parabens, gluten or sulfates. It moisturizes my hair and doesn't make my scalp itchy.

Blistex Lip Medex
When weather changes, I tend to have random dry patches on my lips. This lip balm is like magic, it cured my dry patches in just two days.

Geodeo deodorant in Island
This is 97% natural, works well in deodorizing, smells great and doesn't irritate my skin.

Elf Daily Brush Cleaner
Affordable and efficient reminder to clean your brushes daily. The scent is a bit of a turn off for me, but I compensate by dripping a few drops of essential oils onto the paper towel in which I am cleaning my brush with. Certain essential oils also add disinfecting properties to the cleaner.

Live Clean Green Earth Invigorating body wash with Eucalyptus
Just an every day body wash that doesn't over dry my skin or cause skin irritations.

Danier Farrah Olive Leather Bag
This lovely butter soft leather purse has been a hit in my wardrobe. I specifically bought it to match a pair of brown boots I've recently purchased. I don't like matchy matchy, so I went for the laid back look. This purse can be worn as a handbag, shoulder bag or messenger bag. I enjoy the versatility very much.

Snuggles Lavender Dryer Sheets
I can't seem to get tired of the smell of Lavender.

Beauty Review: December 2012 Glymm Box/Bag

Hello Beauties,

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Sorry this post is so late, please excuse the holiday postal service disruption. I'm pleased to say that I like everything I received this month. They are all products that I would use. At first when I picked up my box at the PO I realized that the box was not sealed. It looked like someone had opened it. Usually the box closure tab is sealed with the Glymm monogrammed tape. This box closure tab was not sealed. It looked like the tape was torn off. I panicked for nothing, everything was safe and sound in it's packaging.

This month's products include:

Suncoat Peelable Water-based Nail Polish 8mL, I can't seem to find a name for the colour only #26 is embossed on the bottom of the bottle. I believe this is the colour Majestic Purple, I found it on their website at SunCoatGirl.com. It is a deep plum with micro shimmers. This is a full size product and it retails for $7.99.

Glamorous Long Stay Lipstick in #07 Sunblind (it doesn't tell you the name on the package, but I looked it up on GlamorousCosmetics.com). What a shame, I opened this lipstick only to find that it was broken. The lipstick itself was detached from it's casing and smashed inside the lid. It's too bad, as the colour was nice. A nice rosy pink/red colour., I think I might be able to save it and depot into my palette this weekend. This is full size product and it retails for $8.00.

Lashem Eyelash & Brow Enhancing Serum, I've always wanted to try one of the brands on the market. But have never got around to purchasing one. What better than to have a sample of this one to try out. I'll let you know how I like it in a future beauty review. I received a little vial of this product, I'm guessing about 2 mL which would be equivalent to approximately $35. The full sized product is 4.2 mL and retails for $69.99. Oh look this same sample is available for free on an Asian beauty store. To my surprise the full size product retails for a lot cheaper in Asia, almost a $30 difference. http://web1.sasa.com/SasaWeb/eng/product/searchProduct.jspa?brandId=14074

lashem

Last but not least, one pair of falsies by Lashem. Just in time for NYE yay! Even a bonus that the first time use, these lashes do not require glue. Because I just ran out of glue last month. Can't wait to try these lashes. They look full and beautiful. This is a full sized product and it retails for $5.00.

Thank you Glymm :)

Happy Holidays to All~
